Starting this September, D7 will open a new high school with courses delivered to students completely online! Students will be able to work from home and at their own pace. Courses are aligned with the Michigan Standards, will have the same rigor and challenge as traditionally
|
delivered high school courses and will lead to a high school diploma. Courses are taught by certified, highly-qualified teachers who are trained in online teaching. D7 is also providing local mentors who provide even more support to students.

Open Enrollment for Schools of Choice
District 7 will be hosting registration for families who wish to attend our schools but are not district residents. Registration begins March 15 and runs through September 10 for grades Kindergarten through 9. For grades 10 through 12 we have a limited number of openings and registration will end on April 1. Summer Meals for Kids!

Online Payment for Student Food Service Accounts and Other School Related Expenses
In an effort to make things easier for families, D7 is pleased to announce online payments for student meal accounts. Beginning in September, parents can log in and use a credit card to post funds to their child's food services account as well as pay for activity fees, sports fees and other expenses. Students can type in their ID in the cafeteria line and the cost of their meal will be deducted from their account. See our web page for more information.

Stimulus Bill and Wayne County Schools
There is a great deal of confusion about how schools will benefit from the stimulus bill passes by congress in March. Wayne County RESA has produced this Stimulus Bulletin to help clarify the information. Please remember that the final funding plan has not been finalized by the State so this information is subject to change. |
