Notice of Board of Education Meeting Cancellation
The Board of Education Meeting scheduled for Tuesday April 7, 2015 has been cancelled for spring break.


Registration for District Residents
Registration for D7 residents is available Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at Board Office 20629 Annapolis, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125. Required documentation and registration forms for D7 residents.

Schools of Choice Open Registration
Registration will be open for unlimited enrollment for K-11 grades, Monday April 27, 2015 through Friday August 21, 2015. There will be limited enrollment for 12th grade, Monday April 27 through Friday May 22, 2015.. Registration forms can be found here


Schools of Choice Open House 
Saturday April 25, 2015, District 7 will be hosting an open house, below are times when each building will be available.

Annapolis High School 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
O.W. Best Middle School:  11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
All Elementary Buildings (including Madison):  9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon 
 

Open Swim
Will be offered Friday, March 13th and 27th from 6-8 p.m.. Cost is $3.00 a child or $6.00 a family for anyone living in the district and $4.00 a child or $8.00 a family for out of distirct families. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult and children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

School Safety
District 7 strives to maintain a safe environment for both students and staff. In December 2012 District 7 contacted The National School Safety Center to conduct school safety site assessments for six schools within the District boundaries.Please read the School Safety Assessment Report to learn more.

Dearborn Heights Virtual Academy DHVA is a high school with courses delivered to students completely online! Students are able to work from home and at their own pace. Courses are aligned with the Michigan Standards, will have the same rigor and challenge as traditionally delivered high school courses and will lead to a high school diploma. Please see the DHVA website for more information. DHVA will be accepting applications for the 2015-16 school year in July 2015

Online Payment for Student Food Service Accounts and Other School Related Expenses
In an effort to make things easier for families, D7 is pleased to announce online payments for student meal accounts. Parents can log in and use a credit card to post funds to their child's food services account as well as pay for activity fees, sports fees and other expenses. Students can type in their ID in the cafeteria line and the cost of their meal will be deducted from their account. See our web page for more information.
