Statement from the Board of Education

Good afternoon D7 Families,

On May 17, 2023 the D7 School Board took action to reinstate the Annapolis High School principal until the end of the 2022-2023 school year. This action was discussed in detail at the May 17 board meeting. With the conclusion of the school year, the AHS principal has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation. The board does not share details of personnel matters. The situation is highly sensitive and any further information will be shared once the investigation is complete. Board members ask for the patience of our school district’s families as we work to conclude the investigation.
